Havana hosts its first Speed Master Marathon World Championships

Havana for the first time in history hosted the highly awaited The Speed master marathon for 2023 in Cuba. 80 skaters from 16 different countries competed for the title of world champion in the inline speed marathon, which involves athletes aged 30 and older. On Sunday, December 10, under a very warm winter sun, the marathon, in which all Cuban amateurs of all ages participated, 

turning Havana's Malecón and Paseo del Prado into a skating festival with masters skaters battling it out for the title.
