The World Skate Marathon Tour (WSMT) is the official open worldwide inline skating marathon series, open to both PRO and Masters categories, as well as the Amateur skaters who are more than welcome to participate in the event. For this first edition, a maximum of 4 stages will host this brand new celebration of the sports all around the globe, starting from the beautiful city of Shanghai, China this coming 14th of April 2024.

Over $350,000 USD in overall Tour prize money will be made available for skaters and teams through the various rankings in the PRO category: Individual Classification per  stage, General Season Classification, and General Team classification.

What’s more, benefits in lodging and meals will be awarded to teams which comply with the registration requisites indicated in the official bulletin.

Registration opens on the 29th of January for Teams, and 6th of March for Athletes.

Different categories competing along all or part of the 42-kilometer circuit will ensure the maximum possible inclusivity.

Categories will be: PRO women and men (15 and above) Masters women and men (Under40, Under50, Under60 and 60+), as well as the Amateurs who are welcome to enjoy the adrenaline and speed of inline skating over different distances. Furthermore, a very special attention will be driven towards the “Future Star” best-ranked skaters (aged 15-18) in the season’s overall ranking.

Included within this bulletin you will find relevant information including the course layout, competition categories, event logistics, accommodation options, registration procedures, prize purse allocation, visa requests, team submissions, and much else besides.

 After Shanghai our incredible global journey will touch Pescara, Italy, skating along the Adriatic coast September 21st for the 2024 World Championship as part of the gigantic, unmissable World Skate Games Italia 2024.

 November 10th will be Cuba's turn, the capital Havana will host a marathon open to both athletes and amateurs.
